Drag in the Countdown block

Blocks panel โ†’ Conversion โ†’ "โณ Countdown"

Drag it above your pricing card or final CTA. Block lands with placeholder text "02 days ยท 00 hours ยท 00 mins ยท 00 secs".

Set the real end date

Click the block โ†’ right panel shows "โฐ Expires At" datetime picker

A native browser datetime picker appears. Pick the actual date + time your offer closes. Save.

The timer now ticks down to that exact moment on every page visit. When zero hits, the section gets an .expired CSS class so you can style a "EXPIRED" message if you want.

What NOT to do

โš  Never use these tricks:
  • 24-hour rolling countdown โ€” resets every visit. Visitors notice immediately. Trust gone.
  • Personalized "deadline in 47 minutes" โ€” calculated per visitor, expires individually. Same problem.
  • Countdown to a date that doesn't exist โ€” claims "ends Friday" but offer still available Saturday. Permanent reputation damage.

What DOES work

Pair with urgency copy

The countdown is the math. Your text is the meaning. Above the timer, write a single line that explains WHY the deadline matters:

"After Friday the price doubles. There is no second-chance window."
"After Friday the cohort closes. Next one is 3 months away."
"After 100 buyers the bonus pack is gone forever."
๐ŸŽฏ Test: Real urgency lifts conversions 20-40% on average. Fake urgency drops trust, refund rates spike, and buyer LTV craters. Always pick real.
